Do you know which movie this is?
After hitting an iceberg, the Titamic had about 2 hours left. People were still playing music, and received the message "PUT ON YOUR LIFE JACKETS."
Mr. Andrew, the ship's owner, was asked, "Tell me the truth." "The ship will sink," he replied. Jack was arrested and handcuffed to a pipe. The captain calmly gave orders, and received word that the rescue team would arrive in 4 hours.
At this point, the command was given, "WOMEN & CHILDREN FIRST."
A violin orchestra was mobilized to play music. Everyone was reminded to "STAY CALM."
There wouldn't be enough room for everyone. Half would have to die. Water flooded the room where Jack was locked up. Rose didn't board a lifeboat, she ran to find Jack. The situation was tense, the water reached Rose's knees. Rose called out "Jack", "Jack", "Jack". Jack heard her. "Rose", "Rose", "Rose" "I'm over here." Jack asked how Rose knew he was framed for theft. Rose answered Jack. The water reached Rose's chest. Jack was still trapped. Rose found an axe. Jack taught Rose how to use the axe. Luckily, Rose saved Jack with a precise blow of the axe.
The ship was preparing to sink. "Keep order I said." But Who listened? Now, either worry and die, or don't worry and die. Jack would die. Rose boarded a lifeboat once more, returned to the Titanic, and ran to find Jack. The movie isn't over yet. Now everyone worries about their fate. Lesson: Learn to swim. 30 seconds later, the ship broke!
How would you feel if you were left at the tip of the ship?, as it was standing vertically at 90 degree, gradually sinking into the ocean? Why give up? What if the crew didn't have the determination to go back and search for survivors? What if Jack didn't make Rose promise to live courageously no matter what happens and to live well now and in the future? What if Rose didn't make and keep that promise? Then 6 out of 1500 people, including Rose, wouldn't have been saved.
At the end of the movie, Rose meets Jack again. The captain and the ship's owner are also there. Everyone applauds as they embrace and are happy. At that moment, the melogy "My Heart Will Go On" by Céline Dion resounds. Céline Dion was born in Charlemagne, Québec, Canada. Dion's parents both have French ancestry.
End of the movie!
