This information was shared by Jensen Huang - CEO of Nvidia after signing an agreement with the Government to establish two AI centers on December 5th in Hanoi. The Nvidia chief called this event an important milestone and a joyful day - marking the birth of Nvidia Vietnam.

According to Jensen Huang, Nvidia is very fortunate to partner with Vingroup through acquiring VinBrain - an artificial intelligence startup from this corporation.

"This is an extraordinary and excellent startup in Vietnam. With VinBrain, we now have a starting point for a major future design center," the Nvidia CEO shared.

Specific details about this M&A deal have not been disclosed. The corporation owned by Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong lists VinBrain as an affiliated company with ownership of over 49.7%. Both voting rights and benefit ratios are at 49.74%.

VinBrain is introduced as a pioneer company developing artificial intelligence applications in healthcare. The company has implemented these solutions in more than 182 hospitals across Vietnam, USA, India, Australia and other countries, helping medical experts improve their work efficiency.

According to the plan, Nvidia will establish the Vietnam Research and Development Center (VRDC) and an AI Data Center in Vietnam. These two facilities are expected to serve as the foundation for Nvidia and local partners to deploy advanced AI.

CEO Jensen Huang believes this is the perfect time for Vietnam to build its artificial intelligence future. He explains that AI intelligence is trained from data, and Vietnam's data is a national resource. Additionally, Nvidia commits to promoting AI development, supporting talent training, and assisting domestic startup projects.
