Botswana's Letsile Tebogo won the men's 200-meter race yesterday, surprising everyone by beating Team USA's Noah Lyles. Lyles won the 100-meter race earlier but got third place yesterday after getting COVID-19. Also, American Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone broke her own best time to win gold in the 400-meter hurdles.
Tomorrow, the US men's basketball team faces off against France for gold after defeating Serbia 95-91 yesterday. The US women's soccer team will also have a shot at gold in its match-up tomorrow with Brazil. This could make up for their early loss in the World Cup last year. On Sunday, the women's volleyball team will will compete against Italy for gold after defeating Brazil yesterday.
