YG Entertainment's Chairman, Yang Hyun Suk, announced new plans for the company in 2025. A series of global tour dates have been scheduled, including BlackPink.

BlackPink to Tour the World in 2025

Yang Hyun Suk revealed many plans for 2025, including the presence of BlackPink. The members no longer have individual contracts with YG, but they will continue to work as a group. YG has assured that they will handle the group activities of the four girls.

Yang Hyun Suk said that the "family" (referring to YG artists) is preparing for a world tour in 2025, starting with BlackPink. Additionally, Babymonster and Treasure are also expected to embark on their own tour.

On July 19th, YG Entertainment announced details about a fan meeting to celebrate the 8th anniversary of BlackPink's debut. Global fans can participate by posting letters, drawings, and photos using the hashtag #Our_Area_With_Blink. The location and time of the fan meeting have not yet been announced.

To mark the group's anniversary, BlackPink will release the music film "BlackPink World Tour [Born Pink] In Cinemas" on August 31st. The film captures the group's performances from their Born Pink world tour and will be screened in over 110 countries, making it the most widely distributed concert film by a K-pop girl group.
