Nguyen Han Bach (born in 2007, Tay Ho High school) achieved a 9.0 IELTS Score through diligent communication, creating a practice environment, and maintaining a calm mindset during the exam.

During his first IELTS attempt in February, Bach scored a perfect 9.0 in Listening, Reading, Speaking and 8.5 in writing. He started learning English from kindergarden and decided to pursue IELTS from the Grade 9. Subsequently, he joined Tay Ho High school and enrolled in the IELTS English Course offered by the school and the Atlantic Five-Star English Center.

Bach engaged in various English activities and events, such as debates and serving as a MC, which enriched his English knowledge and encouraged other students to use English confidently in their life. According to Han Bach, to learn English well, everyone needs to actively use English every day, starting with their favorite topics and issues of personal interest. He suggests not to force oneself during the learning process. For instance, when studying favorite subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Math, students should read materials in English to gain rich knowledge and improve their language skills.

"Becoming accustomed to the language through frequent practice makes one more confident in communication and exams," he added.

In his first IELTS exam, Han Bach experienced some tension. However, he quickly regained his composure using certain methods such as having a good breakfast, focusing on answering the question during the test without worrying about the scores, and having a conversation with other candidates during the waiting period. According to him, this helps alleviate the candidate's nervousness when entering the speaking room with the examiner. Additionally, if lucky, candidates can learn something new from others.
