He thinks that only 20% of training should be about customer needs, and 80% should be about helping workers in their jobs and careers.
FPT Software gives its workers many ways to learn. They can study technical skills, marketing, languages, and more. People can learn online by themselves or in classes. The company also helps pay for workers to learn and get certificates.
Since 2021, FPT Software has worked with Udacity, a famous online learning platform. In 2022, they spent a lot of money to train their workers in new technologies like Data, AI, Cloud, and others. They also started many new learning programs to help their 33,000 workers improve their skills.
Preparing Future IT Workers
Infosys has about 317,000 workers, which is almost 10 times more than FPT Software. Infosys grew because they care a lot about their workers and think people are the most important part of the company. If FPT Software wants to be as big as Infosys, they need to prepare many workers for the future.
FPT Software is working with universities that teach IT. They give money to excellent students who study technology. Recently, they announced they would spend a lot of money to work with 15 universities to train IT workers who can speak Japanese.
