The Value of Evaluation and Planning in Work and Productivity

Not taking the time to evaluate and assess your effectiveness at work is like a farmer planting without harvesting.

Does anyone plant rice and then not harvest it?
Does anyone plant vegetables and then leave them be?
Farmers plant rice, and when the harvest season comes, they reap the rice and sell it to earn money to feed their children and send them to school.
Gardeners also tend to their vegetables and then pick them to sell at the market.
Is there anyone who works without caring about the results? Without caring about wages or salary; or without looking on the payroll?
After working for a whole year, what results have you achieved? Have you counted them?
What did you do last week? What were the results?
What did you do last month? What were the results?
Every week, I write a work report at the end of the week.
For me, working and reporting are essential and useful.
My point of view, not taking the time to evaluate and assess your effectiveness at work is like a farmer planting without harvesting.
Evaluate work effectiveness based on the amount of time spent on each task...
Plan for the coming week.
How much time will I allocate for task A? How much time for task B? How much time for task C?
Which task is more important, which is less important? When will A be done, B be done, C be done?
Why do A, B, C need to be done?
Planning ahead will help save time, increase focus, and reduce distractions. Less important tasks can be done or not done with little impact on the overall results.
